Welcome to a new series about making it through life as a teenager, being true to yourself, and coming out the other side victorious.
I’ll be walking through the daily life of a high schooler and assessing and problem solving a different issue in every installment. All advice is candid, and comes from experience. Here’s a taste of what’s to come!
❤ If you say something funny and nobody laughs, don't feel bad. All the best comedies are devoid of laugh tracks. If it's funny to you, then right on.
❤ If something makes you feel magical, happy, and inspired, work on a way to make that thing an ongoing part of your life, not an escape. Don't create a black and white, double world to hide in.
❤ Inspiring artwork (this one by kendrawcandraw)
❤ I also recommend you view my previous post High School: Horror to Happiness.
Thursday’s installment will focus on sleeping habits and reasons to get up in the morning. Please feel free to leave feedback about your own experiences in the comments below, or you can send me a private message on my tumblr for advice in that arena or simply someone to talk to.
